Quote reblogged from i once was lost but now im found. with 4 notes

The critical question for our generation—and for every generation—
is this: If you could have heaven, with no sickness, and with all the
friends you ever had on earth, and all the food you ever liked, and
all the leisure activities you ever enjoyed, and all the natural beauties
you ever saw, all the physical pleasures you ever tasted, and no
human conflict or any natural disasters, could you be satisfied with
heaven, if Christ were not there?

Weekend Update

It’s the weekend update. Been a tough week in some ways, but God has really been continuously working wonders. I’ll spare you the details just to say that I am thankful that I possess the Holy Spirit and consider it the one thing in me defined by perfect grace. Been reading Ezekiel for the first time this week. Been pretty different from most of the books of the prophets.

First full week of classes for this semester. The University of Alabama is a different, more pleasant place following the national championship win. Teachers seem to be more gracious. Anyway, hope to find a Tumblr app on my Droid soon so I can Tumbl on the go?? I guess that works.
